Nonprofit Marketing ebook

Over the past three decades, I have created nonprofit marketing programs that touched more than 100 million individuals and raised more than $40 million.

Throughout this experience, and throughout this nonprofit marketing eBook, I have frequently recalled what Forest Gump told us (in the movie Forest Gump) that his mama said:

“Mama always said life is like a box of chocolates.
You never know what you’re gonna get.”

Throughout several decades of nonprofit marketing work, I have been dealing with box of chocolates-like surprises. And, never have these surprises been more surprising than during the COVID-19 pandemic. In response, I continue to innovate my nonprofit marketing toolkit.

This eBook tells seven stories about how I am innovating nonprofit marketing best practices to overcome sometimes daunting challenges. I share these stories in the hope that they may spark your creative thinking.

Some of the projects discussed in this eBook include:

  • Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation – Celebrating Frank Lloyd Wright’s Legacy of Sustainable Architecture
  • American Humane – Protecting Children and Animals from Abuse and Neglect
  • San Juan Marina – Creating Jobs in a Remote Corner of the Navajo Nation
  • Desert Stages Theatre – Digital Marketing Drives Revenue For a Community Theatre
  • Cripple Creek, Colorado – Funding Historic Restoration of the World’s Greatest Gold Camp
  • The Grand Canyon Railway – Transforming a Nonprofit Project Into a For-Profit Business
  • ACCESSMed Foundation – Digital Marketing and Partnerships Overcome Social Distancing

Nonprofit marketing is now, and forever will be, a work in progress. If you are a nonprofit marketer looking for some fresh ideas, please download and enjoy this eBook. And, please do contact me if you would like to explore a few creative marketing ideas.
